Google's latest AI report highlights the importance of responsible AI advancement and offers suggestions for policymakers, businesses, and the public. The document "An AI Opportunity Agenda for India" explains how artificial intelligence can boost economic growth, social advancement, and worldwide leadership for the country.

The report suggests that India, with its burgeoning economy, exceptional tech workforce, youthful population, and thriving start-up environment, is ready to capitalize on the vast advantages of artificial intelligence.

A thorough and accountable strategy towards AI has the potential to generate substantial economic growth and societal advancement in India.

"The potential economic impact of AI in India is substantial - reports estimate that at least INR 33.8 lakh crore of economic value from AI adoption can be achieved in India in 2030. While these achievements signify a promising beginning, unlocking the full potential of AI hinges on the strategic decisions we make today," says a Google's press release.

The report recommends that, in order to fully benefit from the AI technology in India, cooperation is essential among government, industry, and civil society. They must focus on three main areas: investing in infrastructure and innovation, developing human capital and an AI-driven workforce, and encouraging widespread adoption and universal accessibility.
